YOUR PRECINCT CHAIRS

HAVE BEEN BUSY SINCE

THE LAST ELECTION!!

The Travis County Democratic Party formed a number of committees and task forces after the last election, to learn from our experiences and develop an even more effective Democratic force in Travis County.

The Precinct Chair committee has developed a new Training Manual and is conducting training for precinct chairs this summer.

The Rules and Procedures committee is working on roles and responsibilities and better organized meetings.

The Technology task force is bringing our county organization into the 21st century by upgrading our computer resources, so we can better use our databases and communicate more effectively.

The Issues committee is setting guidelines for what kinds of issues will be brought before the TCDP for consideration and/or endorsement, and how the issues will be vetted.

The Fundraising committee is working on the budget, fundraising and audit matters.

And the Location task force is trying to find TCDP a permanent facility that is large enough for meetings and coordinated campaign activities.
